Parks on the Air started in 2016 as a special event of the ARRL has been continued by a group of volunteers since shortly after the event ended in 2017. As an amateur "ham" radio operator myself (KI6BTY), who is new to POTA in 2022, I'm quite happy that this event is ongoing.
